Ronny Hosts Pizza Party At Ronald McDonald House With New York Life

On December 20, 2010, Ronny and the Heart to Heart Foundation partnered with New York Life to hold a pizza party the Ronald McDonald House for 50 kids in New York. Ronny also invited Alphabet Scoop out to serve ice cream to the kids. After pizza and ice cream, Ronny surprised all the children by giving them one gift each. He didn’t stop there. He informed the kids that he was donating many additional toys to their house. The event went very well and turned out to be the beginning of a special holiday season for the kids.

Ronny Invites Camp Talyor To Game

On November 19, 2010, Ronny invited 40 members of Camp Taylor to watch his first game back to the Bay Area as the Knicks took on the Warriors at Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA. Ronny made sure everyone received extra special treatment. They were given a behind the scenes tour of Oracle and were able to watch pre-game shoot-around from courtside seats. Ronny also stopped by to say hello to everyone from Camp Taylor. During the game everyone received a special Heart to Heart Foundation water bottle and bracelet from Ronny. They were also featured on the Jumbotron at halftime. Camp Taylor was very excited to be a part of Ronny’s first game back to the place where he made so many fans and touched so many people’s lives the past two years. It is safe to say that although they may always be Warriors fans, they will always be rooting for Ronny Turiaf as well.

Ronny Turiaf Visits Youth Basketball Clinic

On Sunday, May 2nd, Ronny was a special guest instructor at the Warriors Youth Camp’s Shooting Clinic. The clinic took place at Justin-Sienna High School in Napa from 10:00 AM until 2:30 PM. Boys and girls ages 7-15 attended the clinic and also received 2 tickets to a Golden State Warrior game in November of 2010.

The REACH Scholarship Awards were presented this morning to eight remarkable young student athletes, who have used sports as a catalyst to overcome major hardships in their lives. They are very inspirational and the reason why professional athletes like Ronny Turiaf, who has had his own obstacles, volunteered to attend. Lucky Supermarket Bake Sale

Our own Ronny Turiaf took part in the Lucky Supermarket “Share Our Strength” Bake Sale in San Ramon yesterday where he took pictures with fans that purchased special Golden State Warriors cakes. This special event raised funds for the fight against hunger. After Ronny took pictures with his fans, he helped out in the Lucky Supermarket bakery making garlic bread, icing cupcakes and putting together cookie trays.

UNICEF Meet & Greet With Ronny Turiaf And Stephen Curry

On Wednesday, November 10, 2010, the winners of the auction to benefit the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF program attended the Golden State Warriors vs. New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. As a part of the auction package the winners, Dan Butler and his son Weston, enjoyed VIP tickets to watch the game, jerseys of each player, two Warriors gift bags and a special post game meet and greet with Stephen Curry of the Warriors and Ronny Turiaf of the Knicks. Dan and Weston got the chance to meet and chat with two of their favorite players up close and personal. Stephen and Ronny signed autographs and posed for pictures. It was a great experience for everyone involved and helped raise money for a great cause.
